October Fun and Maths Week!

We had lots of fun in Junior Infants during the month of October. We went on an autumn nature trail in The Gaels in search of all things autumn in our environment. Our class won best attenders for term 1! We were thrilled with the news and really enjoyed our goodie bags full of yummy treats. We dressed up in spooky costumes and had a party to celebrate Halloween.

The Junior Infants had a great time doing lots of different maths activities, both in our classroom and outside, during Maths Week. We had fun playing maths games, making patterns and singing counting songs. We created pictures of rockets using 2D shapes and we went on a maths trail around our school on Thursday. We had great fun this week!
