Engineer's Week 2023

This year Mr McGrath and Mr Mc Carron wanted to ensure we celebrated Engineer's Week with a full week's itinerary involving many aspects of Engineering. The stimulus for the week was "Redesigning Ballyfermot."

Boys from 3rd & 6th class got to work on planning the redevelopment of Ballyfermot and then put their plans into development using blueprinting,Lego, and Minecraft. On the Wednesday, the boys were treated to a Q&A Zoom session with an Engineer in which they got a great insight into the roles and responsibilities of an Engineer on site. ​​​
