What a Year!
Junior Infants are coming towards the end of their first year in Mary Queen of Angels 1, and what a year it has been! Have a look through the many photographs of this amazing class and all they have achieved in this special, first year in school.
We will remember fondly our autumn trail in The Gaels where we found all things autumn and our fun Maths trail around the school during Maths Week. Junior Infants loved eating their tasty treats they bought at Mary Queen of Angels’ bake sale. Then there was the time the boys dressed up in their spooky costumes for Halloween. It was a great day when the 6th class boys helped us to do fun experiments for Science Week – Who can remember the dancing raisins and the skittles rainbow?
Junior Infants didn’t only have a visit from Santa Claus but the Dublin team with the Sam Maguire too! The boys reaped the rewards of all their hard work by having a pancake party and hot chocolate. We have had many special performances for our parents and grandparents – our Christmas play, Grandparents’ Day and Irish dancing during Seachtain na Gaeilge.
I hope you enjoy the photographs of this fantastic class. You can take a trip down
memory lane in recapping some of the wonderful highlights of 2019 – 2020.
